A new era dawns for Indian T20I cricket as a young squad, led by Shubman Gill, embarks on a five-match series  India tour of Zimbabwe 2024  starting July 6th in Harare. Following their T20 World Cup victory, senior players like Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, and Ravindra Jadeja have been rested, paving the way for exciting new talents to showcase their skills.

Late Squad Update for India:

Ahead of the series opener, Sai Sudharsan, Jitesh Sharma, and Harshit Rana have been added to the Indian squad as replacements for Sanju Samson, Shivam Dube, and Yashasvi Jaiswal. Due to Hurricane Beryl in Barbados, the trio of Samson, Dube, and Jaiswal are unavailable for the first two T20Is.
